As I have said before (if you have read for a while), we don't do the whole Santa thing. We do however tell our boys that Santa was a real person that lived long ago. He did nice things for people and wanted them to know Jesus. BUT we also go and see Santa too! We do talk about how he is just a pretend Santa and not the real Santa that lived long ago.
I am just waiting for that day when they break some child's heart, telling them Santa is not real. We are trying to avoid that- by the way!
This year a dear friend had a man from their church come to her house and be Santa. It was Carson's first experience with Santa and he didn't quite know what to think. Oh sweet memories!
Yes, he ended up crying!
