Sorry it has been so long since my last post. These past two weeks have been a little crazy. Wednesday of last week my mom and Benjamin came home (to FL). He was having fun at Ci-Ci's Florida house with my boots (plus the great Cars Tattoos for kicks!). Friday after MOPs (mother's of preschoolers) I went over to set up for a baby shower and then my sister came from Orlando to spend the night. On Saturday, I gave my sister-in-law, Polly, a baby shower (with the help of my other sister-in-law, Natalie). It was great deal of work, but it came out wonderful. Sunday morning, Tyler, the boys, my mom and I flew out of Tampa to Nashville (the pic is of Warren in the airport). We drove to Sparta, dropped off everyone and Tyler and I went on to Gatlinburg. We have just spent the last four days resting and relaxing in the Smokeys area. It was great! For those of you that have been there in the summer and at high season, it was great, because no one was there! It was so dead. We didn't have to wait in line for anything. We got to do some neat things that we wouldn't have done with kids. We froze, but we had a great time. We went to the new Wonderworks. Yes, we live in Florida near the one in Orlando. But sometimes you just have to go away to do certain activities. It was really neat. For those who don't know, it is a hands on experience to challenge your mind. They had lots of learning activities, from experiencing a hurricane and earthquake to blowing humongous bubbles. We also were free to meet good friends that I went to nursing school with, Brian Mountain and his wife Dedra. Brian is in nurse anesthetist school and Dedra just graduated with her post-doc in research. We had a lot to get caught up on. Tyler and I also went to the Pancake Pantry (twice)- a Gatlinburg staple. I had the chocolate chip and the next time the sugar and spice pancakes. Yum!!! We went to The Peddler too! We started thinking about it and we actually went there on our first Valentine's Day together(before marriage). Guess we will have to start making it a tradition. Since it was our 5th anniversary. But now we are back in the real world. We fly out on Saturday. Tyler was accepted to the police force and starts Monday. It will be a real awakening for all of us! Until next time...
