Alaska

Greeting from Alaska! Today we are docking in Juneau. We have booked a shore excursion for Whale watching and wildlife cruise. It has been a wonderful scenic cruise so far. We have been able to see land for most of the way so far (we are in the Inside Passage). It is mostly snow capped mountains. The rest of the family saw humpback whales this morning. We missed them by minutes. Yesterday we enjoyed watching dolphins (spinners) play in our wake. You could see them coming from way far away and then they would just disappear! It was great entertainment. It was a rainy cloudy day yesterday so we just took it easy- not doing much but sleep. Last night was formal night so we got all dressed up. The boat also provided dinner for Benjamin, and he got to play and not have to sit still for so long. It was great! We dropped him off at 5 went and picked him up at 9pm!!! This is the life!!! We had a time change last night so now it is 4 hours behind EST. I am so over these time changes. We just got Benjamin back to normal and here we go again. Oh well. Will try to update tomorrow!

Nathan- I am using the ship's wi-fi.
