Benjamin's Birthday Party

Wow! I am very overwhelmed with these pictures. I only have 477 to look through. Oh my!!! It is going to take a little bit to get them all together.

We had a great time at Benjamin's party. We went to PlayAway. It was wonderful! They had two girls that helped entertain the kids and keep the party going. I didn't have to worry about anything (but of course, I did). The kids had a blast! When we got there, we had free play. Benjamin loved the trampoline and Warren loved the bouncy house. Both loved the ball pit, but Warren just wanted to stand on the outside and pick out balls to throw. Then they put the bouncy house away and we sat in circle time. There we sang songs with motions: Twinkle, Twinkle, The Wheels on the Bus, Dinosaur March. Then we did 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed with finger puppets. Next was bubble time! All the kids LOVED this. Isn't it amazing what some soap and water can do! Next the girls brought out a giant parachute and we tossed the kids up in the air (with parents help). Then we did popcorn with balls and the parachute. The kids helped us go really fast with throwing the parachute on this one. Next was cake! Yum. Benjamin got to make a "grand entrance-" one of the girls brought him in on a sled and put him in a swing that looked like a rocket. He did great with the candles as you can see in the video below. After the cake we played some more and then they brought out swings for all the kids. Lastly they did the zip line. Benjamin didn't want to participate, which is just fine. All in all it was a great party. Mommy and Daddy are tired.

Here's the two best group pictures that I have. As you know it is hard to get any child to sit still for a brief second. Try 11 at one time!

Thank you to everyone that came! We had fun getting to see everyone and spend a very special day with you!!!
