Our Colorado Trip Pictures

The flights out to Colorado were horrible and we were so glad to be there. Our hotel was VERY nice. We had part of the penthouse on the West side. The floor had four rooms that all opened up to a common living and dining room. It was a very slow time of year so they closed down our side of the hotel. We were the only people in the entire place!

Wednesday we went to Focus on the Family. The kids had a great time playing downstairs in their Adventures in Odyssey play area. It was really neat!
This was the view from our balcony. The lake in between the two hotels (all the same complex) was partially frozen. You can also see some of the geese on the lake. The kids loved the "ducks."
Thursday, a group went skiing in Keystone. This is when my father in law fell and broke his hip. My mother in law left to be with him. He is coming home today!

Friday we took our trip to Pike's Peak. This is the sign at the start of the drive. Tyler and I took our boys and our niece, Madison up as far as we could go. The wind was very bad and it was FREEZING! It was so gorgeous!

This was a rest stop on our drive up. In the summer you can boat and fish on this lake. I have never seen a whole frozen body of water like this. It was so pretty!Warren at the end of our drive up the mountain.
