Anybody have an opinion?

Tyler and I are looking at dining room table and chairs. It has been a LONG and hard process (almost 6 months now). We went looking again yesterday (because we don't have any kids this week :) We ended up finding two sets we like- one with an oval table and one with a rectangle. Now we have to make a decision. Anybody got an opinion as to what would look best in this space? You can leave an anonymous comment if you want!

Here's some pictures to help make up your mind...
Our Dining room- the only things that will stay are the corner cabinets, picture on the wall, and the drapes. I am standing in the living room; so the dining space is open to the rest of the house.

And the two contenders...
Oval- the base splits to add a leaf.
This chair would go with the oval table.

Rectangle Table...Chair for Rectangle table

Thanks for your vote! We will let you know soon!

I voted for oval. I like the table way better and the chairs way better...I mean, absolutely hands down like the oval better!!!

I say oval, just to break up all the straight lines in that room, but i do like the rectangle table chairs;)

thanks for the comment and info! aiden started climbing out of his crib months ago, so we took out the hooks and set the mattress on the floor, but still inside the crib. well, today he came walking in the living room when he got done with his afternoon nap! i was thinking we would make the transition this month or next, but now it maybe sooner! we have been out of town a couple of time and they did great sleeping together in a real bed, so we will see! i'm just scared of loosing what little bit of control i have when i put them in their cribs where they cannot get out:)!!

by the way, i love both the table and thought at first for sure the oval to break up the room, but i like the rectangle one. i think the chairs and legs of the table will help break up all the straight walls! either way i'm sure it will turn out beautiful!

i say oval. it seems like a fairly narrowish room? and i think the oval would break things up a bit. but that's just my two sense.
