I have read on so many blogs about taking your kids to the Dollar Store and letting them shop for other members of the family for special occasions. It sounds like such a good idea and puts the emphasis on others, so I thought we would give it a try for Tyler's birthday this year. I gave the boys each $5 to spend at Dollar Tree. It was funny to see what each of them picked out. They had so much fun. We will definitely be doing this again!
Warren's present... A plastic skeleton, Pepsi, hand sanitizer, Big League Chew and a drawing.
Ben's present: 2 flashlights (man, he knows his dad), hand sanitizer, candles for how old he is, and 2 of his favorite candy bars- Hershey's with almonds.
