We're HOME!!!!

Thank you soooo much for ALL of your prayers during the last couple of days!!! We definitely know that God is good and He answers prayers! Warren came home today. Thank God we're home!!! God is so good! It amazes me just how quickly God answers prayers!!! Almost immediately, Warren started getting better when we were in the emergency room. It was kindof bittersweet- we weren't sure if he was getting better because he had had a dose of antibiotics or because of the spinal tap! Praise God it was probably related to the spinal tap. We found out today that our little one did have viral meningitis. There is not a whole lot the doctors can do to fix this disease. It is self limiting and usually self containing. They just have to let it run it's course. But because we didn't know if it was bacterial or viral, he has had antibiotics just in case. The doctor also wants to send off a specimen to see if they can determine what type of virus caused the meningitis. This will take a couple of weeks and it will have to be done by another lab (state or CDC). Hopefully this will lead us to know what caused it and where it came from. Right now, we have NO clue where he picked this up. The doctor said it could have been something as simple as a stomach bug that just went haywire in his system. Right now, I am just happy to have him home and him to be acting fine. He is just a little sleepy. We will follow up with our normal pediatrician tomorrow. Again, thank you all for your prayers and concern!!! It has been a rough couple of days. We are soooo thankful to have my mom here to take care of Benjamin and all of us! Thank you Ci-Ci for everything!!!!!
